Bush Suite

Step into two luxuriously appointed rooms with memorabilia of President and Mrs. George H. W. Bush on its walls and beautiful views of the hotel pool. Other than the memorabilia, the Bush Suite was renovated and decorated the same as the other new suites at the hotel. Elegantly designed for comfort and flow, suites feature a spacious Living Room with plush seating, a powder room, sophisticated wet bar, and a table-for-two for private dining by the window. The bedroom has a king size bed, large armoire, and comfy club chair and ottoman for reading and resting by a picturesque window. The spacious master bath has a double vanity, walk-in shower, and whirlpool tub with imaginative wall tile art designed to reflect the iconic Texas Live Oak Tree found only at The Houstonian.
The Bushes not only spent time enjoying the club, playing tennis, swimming, and dining at The Houstonian, but President Bush also hosted the G7 Economic Summit meetings at the property's Manor House estate in 1990. The Houstonian worked with archivists at the George H. W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum to procure treasured images portraying an intimate look into the Bushes' unpretentious and endearing family life. 680 square feet. Sleeps up to four guests.
