YOUNGER KID YOGA* (ages 4+)

Cooperative games, theme activities, storytelling and music engage the natural energy and enthusiasm of the 4-year-and-older child.  Classes explore yoga poses, breathing exercises, visual imagery and relaxation techniques while conveying lessons in self-expression, body image, social skills, positive thinking and environmental awareness.

OLDER KID YOGA* (ages 8+)

Nurturing the maturing independence of 8-year-and-older kids, these classes encourage a deeper sense of body awareness, self-exploration and interpersonal skills.  Alive with flowing sequences, balancing poses, breathing exercises and creative relaxation techniques, children are sure to relish in their selves.  As well, partner poses and cooperative yoga games inspire positive peer interactions that they are sure to carry into their everyday lives.

TEEN YOGA*

Drawing on their experience through creative reflection, teens explore the physical and philosophical practice of traditional yoga.  Teen yogis and yoginis develop body and mind strength and flexibility through yoga poses, breathing exercises, mediation and relaxation.  Journaling, group discussions and valuable activities create a positive environment that supports self-esteem, body appreciation and tools for stress management.

MOMMYBABY YOGA*

This one-time, open-level, fun flow yoga class focuses on movement and breathing specifically tailored for new moms.  Special attention is placed on developing core strength and stability involving a particular emphasis on strengthening the back, abdomen, and pelvic floor as well as relieving tension in areas such as the neck, shoulders and back.  The babies (4-weeks old to walking) benefit from the bonding time with mom, baby massages and the stimulating environment of new baby friends!
