Appointments
Services should be scheduled at least two weeks in advance to guarantee availability. Allow one month for spa packages. A credit card or member number will be used to hold your appointment.
Waiting List
In the event that your requested date is not available, a wait list will be provided to accommodate you in the event of a cancellation.
Cancellation Considerations
Please cancel your appointments 24 hours in advance to allow other guests ample time to schedule appointments in your absence. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or “no shows” will be charged 100 percent of the treatment price.
How early should I arrive for my appointment?
We recommend that guests arrive at least 30-45 minutes prior to scheduled appointment times.
What if I’m running late? Should I cancel?
If you are running more than 15 minutes late for any service, we require that your appointment be rescheduled. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or “no shows” will be charged 100 percent of the treatment price.
Can I request a male or female spa provider?
Yes, please specify when making your appointment.
If I do not have an appointment may I use the additional facilities in the spa?
A $75 Facility Fee for the day will be charged for use of the spa without an appointment.
What should I wear to my treatment?
You will be provided a robe and slippers to wear during your spa experience. Disposable undergarments are available to you if you feel more comfortable when having a body treatment.
What should I not bring?
Although lockers with security lock boxes are offered, we suggest that you leave your valuables (i.e. jewelry) at home. Trellis will not be responsible for lost or stolen personal items or valuables.
Will any treatments be uncomfortable?
A pre-treatment consultation at the time of your reservation will address any concerns regarding your comfort. If you are uncomfortable in any way, please bring it to your service provider’s attention.
Where should I wait for my appointment?
For face or body treatments, we ask that you wait in the upstairs waiting area only. Guests scheduled for hair and nail appointments are asked to lounge by our Indoor Float Pool.
What is recommended after my treatment?
Guests are welcome to relax in the Tranquility or Relaxation rooms, Trellis Baths area or by our Indoor Float Pool.
How old do I have to be to receive a service?
Guests must be 14 years of age and older to receive a spa treatment. Guests
14-17 years of age must have a parent or guardian in the spa during the treatment time. These services will be booked with the same gender provider unless requested differently by the parent or guardian.
Children
As a courtesy to other spa guests, children are not permitted in spa treatment areas or left unattended in the lobby.
What about gratuities?
Gratuities are accepted for exceptional service. Typical gratuities for spa services begin at 15 percent and may be higher based upon satisfaction level.
Food and Beverage Service
Lunch, dinner and dessert menus are available upon request. Complimentary juices, herbal teas and flavored waters are available daily in the spa.
Merchandise Returns
We ask that merchandise be returned within 30 days with your receipt.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates can be purchased in any dollar amount and used towards any of our spa treatments or spa packages. Houstonian Gift Cards are redeemable for up to one year after the purchase date. Other gifts such as Homecare products or Trellis robes also may be purchased in the Retail Gallery.
Cell Phones, Pagers, Smoking
As a courtesy to other spa guests, we restrict the use of cell phones and pagers inside the spa. Smoking is not permitted.
Pregnancy
If you are pregnant, please let your guest services coordinator know. This will guarantee you placement in the proper treatments to best suit your needs.
Retin A, Accutane, Renova Users
If you currently are using these drugs, please advise your guest services coordinator and service provider. Some treatments, such as waxing, are not recommended for those using these products.
Health Issues
Please inform your guest services coordinator and service provider of any health issues that you have. Our team of expert therapists will see that your treatment is specialized for your particular needs.
