The Arbor Grill Supervisor will develop and enhance Houstonian Hotel service standards through disciplined administration of departmental Standard Operating Procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, organizing and conducting a pre-shift meetings, scheduling and directing staff in their work assignments; To ensure effective working relationships and clear communication are maintained with all colleagues and leaders in the Outlets and other departments; To implement procedures, policies, and methods of operation; To ensure that all equipment, fixtures, and furniture of the department are kept in the best repair possible and are used in a safe and proper manner; To develop and maintain a safety culture within the department and ensure departmental adherence to and awareness of Health and Safety standards; To ensure the successful seasonal transition of the entire Arbor Grill and to be familiar with Arbor Grill menus and beverage lists. |
Qualifications: Must be 18 years; Weekends and all Holidays availability is required; Ability to make decisions in a fast paced environment; Strong guest service and Human relations skills; Minimum 2 years hotel/restaurant experience; Minimum 2 years supervisory/management experience; Working knowledge of Micros, Microsoft applications and Ultipro; Must have good knowledge of Wine and spirits; Must be able to bend, squat, lift and push up to 20 lbs. on a consistent basis; Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch for general cleaning tasks; Must be able to stand and walk for an extended amount of time in an outdoor environment (walk back and forth on a consistent basis).
