Spa Guest Services Coordinator - Full Time and Part Time
This position requires customer service experience, prior hotel, spa or salon reservations experience is preferred. Computer experience with word and excel.  The Guest Service Coordinator has the ability to learn Spa Software program, to speak fluent English, and must possess strong communication skills. This employee should must display a pleasant, professional, and outgoing personality and professional appearance. Must be flexible in work schedule and able to work weekends.

Youth Attendant - Part Time and Full Time
The Youth Attendants interact and with the children placed in the care of the Youth Department. This employee is responsible for organizing and stocking games, movies, board games, and art supplies. They will clean and sanitize all tables, shoe rack, and perform a very detailed cleaning of the jungle gym once per week.  Youth Attendants plan and prepare activities and crafts, keep the supplies organized and neat and request supplies as needed. Youth Attendants must be physically able to lift up to 35 pounds. CPR and First Aid certification training will be provided within one week of hire.

Engineering Pool Tech III - Full Time Overnight Shift
This position will require frequent standing, walking, climbing of ladders and stairs, kneeling, crawling on hands and knees, reaching overhead, lifting and carrying various objects weighing up to 70 lbs and swimming.  Must be able to work safely and effectively while elevated on ladders, scaffolds or work platforms. Must be able to work safely and effectively in outdoor temperatures. Temperatures in mechanical rooms and some other work spaces may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Summer temperatures outside can get above 95 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 months of year. For 2 months of year, low temperatures can get below 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Occasional driving is required. Must possess a valid Texas Drivers License and maintain a good driving record in compliance with company policy. Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle equipped with a lift gate and/or a standard transmission.


Pool Attendant - On Call
Pool Attendants are required to have a flexible work schedule to include being available on weekends. The typical schedule can include 2-3 work days per week after school, one 8 hour day on weekends and holiday work. Pool Attendants must be 16 years of age or older. CPR, First Aid & AED certifications are preferred but can be obtained within two weeks of hire. Must be physically able to lift 30+ pounds, walk, stand, bend and work in an outdoor environment.

Club Housekeeping Attendant - Full Time (PM Shift)
The Club Attendant is responsible for the removal and resupply of terry from club locker rooms, studios, and all public space in the Houstonian Club.  The Club Attendant also picks up trash from locker rooms and other public space and removes trash from the building for disposal, maintains all public space, cleans and supplies non-locker room restrooms, lobbies, stairwells, hallways, elevators and garage elevator landings. The Club Attendant must have conversational English language skills, so as to respond to requests and greet members and guests appropriately in English, must be able to use chemicals safely and accurately, be able to use vacuums and other housekeeping equipment. Must be able to walk, stand and bend for long periods of time. Must be able to push, pull and lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and frequently manipulate carts that weigh 200 lbs.  Must be able to see and read printed matter with or without vision aids. Shift times are 1:30pm - 10pm


Center Court Cashier - Full Time and Part Time
The Center Court Cashier serves restaurant patrons by delivering personalized service as they take and deliver food & beverage orders for members and guests of The Houstonian Club.  The Center Court Cashier serves the Company by accurately ringing tickets for every purchase and responsibly managing a cash bank.  The cashier must understand and communicate fluently in English, be able to accurately and making change for purchases and perform standardized accounting cash closing procedures.  Previous Food Service or Retail Cashier experience preferred. Must be physically able to walk, stand and bend for long periods of time and to push, pull and lift 20 lbs. and on an occasional basis, 50 lbs. 

Club Locker Room Attendant (Male and Female) - Full Time
The Locker Room Attendant keeps the locker room clean and supplied with all the necessary amenities. Greet and assist members during their visit to the locker room, report any defects and watch for any unusual activity inside the locker room. The ideal candidate speaks English language fluently, has a positive and friendly attitude and possesses an eye for detail and cleanliness. Customer service and housekeeping experience are preferred. This position requires the ability to move, lift, and/or pull supply boxes and other items located inside the locker room weighing up to 50 lbs.

Aquatics Manager - Full Time
The Aquatics Manager is responsible for facilitation the daily routines of Aquatics staff and assisting with coordinating supportive services from other departments.  The Aquatics Manager will provide training, development, leadership and guidance for Head Lifeguards, Lifeguards, Pool Attendants and Swim Instructors.  The Aquatics Manager is responsible for ensuring proper staffing is scheduled for daily business needs.  They will coordinate their efforts the SwimFit Coordinator and Aquatics Director to ensure proper staffing levels are provided for all Aquatics related events. In providing leadership for the Youth Swimming programs, they will be accountable for planning, promoting, marketing, administration and executing the Group Swim Lesson programs.  Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, P.E., Exercise Science or a closely related field preferred plus three (3) years directly related aquatics supervisory experience. Current CPR, First Aid, Lifeguard Instructor and Water Safety Instructor certifications are required. Certified Pool Operator Certification will be required within six-months of hire; 2-years’ experience teaching swimming to all ages; must be experienced in planning, coordinating and executing swim programs. Must be physically able to move and lift items located inside the pool areas weighing up to 50 lbs.

Hotel Guest Service Agent - Full Time, Part Time and Overnight

The Guest Service Agent accommodates guests by registering and assigning rooms, issuing room keys, transmitting and receiving messages, maintaining records of occupied rooms and guest accounts, making and confirming reservations, collecting payments from departing guests, and effectively operating  the hotel communication systems. Must have excellent communications skills, computer proficiency and typing skills. Luxury hotel experience is preferred. The Guest Service Agent must be physically able to: lift up to 60 lbs and push or pull various sizes of luggage, packages, coolers, boxes, etc;  bend to lift luggage, packages, coolers and/or boxes that weigh up to 60 lbs; Walk, stand, climb stairs lift and pull frequently throughout shift.


Assistant Director of Outlets
The Assistant Director of Outlets will develop and enhance Houstonian Hotel service standards through disciplined administration of departmental Standard Operating Procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, F&B cost controlling, organizing and conducting pre-shift and departmental meetings, scheduling and directing staff in their work assignments, creating forecast and revenue reports, maintaining profitability of the outlets to support overall hotel operation, and ensuring excellent customer service.  The Assistant Director of Outlets holds responsibilities in Olivette Restaurant, In-Room Dining, Bar, Arbor Grill, Al a Carte and Center Court Cafe. Must be 18 years or older with a good working knowledge of Wine and spirits. This position also requires a minimum of 3 years Hotel/Restaurant experience and a minimum 2 years supervisory/management experience. Working knowledge of Micros, Microsoft applications and Ultipro are preferred.

Director of Banquets
The Director of Banquets is responsible for overseeing the service of all banquets and banquet-related food and beverage operations as well as conference services. This position also oversees the Audio-Visual Department. Responsible for the payroll of Banquets, Conference, AV, Business Center. The Director of Banquets will hire, train, supervise, schedule, counsel and discipline associates for the efficient operation of the departments. This manager will also participate in activities of Captains, Housemen and Coffee Breaks Attendants in presenting product in accordance with productivity standards, cost controls and forecast needs. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand for long periods of time, walk for long periods of time, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools and/or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift 50 lbs and with another team member push or pull 600 lbs loaded carts.

Pastry Cook - Seasonal
The Seasonal Pastry Cook will assist in the production of cakes, tarts, cookies, creams, custards, sauces and plated desserts. The primary responsibility is to support the process of the pastry team as they perform their duties throughout the busy winter holiday season. This Seasonal Pastry Cook must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays. This position requires that you be physically able to stand and bend for long periods of time, the hours of work vary and are based upon business levels; must be able to push, pull and lift 30 lbs. on a regular basis.
