Bell Person - Full Time
The Bell Person  assist guests upon check-in and check-out and as needed throughout their stay.  This employee will show guests to their rooms while assisting them with their luggage maintain designated stations in the lobby, stand alert to be easily summoned for fronts, maintain the cleanliness of the bell stand, lobby and baggage room as well as delivering messages and valet to guest rooms. The Bell Person must be able to lift up to 60 lbs., push or pull a minimum of 120 lbs. of various sizes of luggage, packages, coolers and boxes. Must be physically able to continually walk, stand, and climb stairs. This position may require work in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Spa Attendant - Male, Full Time and Part Time. Female, Full Time
This position provides customer service in the Spa Locker Rooms. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred as well as the ability to work well in a fast paced environment and to multi-task. Spa Attendants should be able to comfortably serve customers in English.   Applicants must be of legal age to serve alcohol in the State of Texas. Physical requirements will include bending, stooping, and lifting of materials up to 20 pounds.

Spa Group Sales Coordinator - Full Time
The Group Sales Coordinator is responsible for scheduling spa services for groups five or more and overseeing all aspects of their visit.   Direct all efforts toward guest satisfaction, the achievement and maintenance of The Spa standards and profit maximization. Duties include, but are not limited to: scheduling all spa services (via telephone and in person) in an efficient manner to maximize associate productivity, promoting and selling all spa services using direct questioning and listening to the needs of each guest, maintaining the work area in a neat and clean manner and  at all times.  This includes front desk, lobby area, reservations office, concierge desk and work folders and greeting each guest as they enter The Spa. 

Olivette Busser - Part Time
The Olivette Busser assists the Server in providing a better experience to our restaurant guests. The duties include but are not limited to: table set up for each shift, cleaning and resetting tables in a timely manner, stocking supplies, continuously replenishing non-alcoholic beverages and bread presentations and maintaining table services. A minimum of one year previous experience required. The Busser must be physically able to walk, stand and bend for long periods of time, and able to push, pull, lift and carry 30 lbs.

Bartender - Full Time
The Bartender assists guests with customer service and fulfilling food beverage orders with a high level of attentiveness and accuracy. This employee must have a keen attention to detail, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficient technology skills on the POS system. Minimum one year previous bar tending experience is required. Bartenders must be at least 18 years of age with current T.A.B.C. certification. The Bartender must be physically able to: walk, stand and bend for long periods of time; able to serve using a cocktail tray; able to push, pull and lift 30 lbs. or more and able to see and read a computer screen and printed matter with or without vision aids.

Assistant Outlets Manager - Full Time
The Assistant Outlets Manager will develop and enhance Houstonian Hotel service standards through disciplined administration of departmental Standard Operating Procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, organizing and conducting pre-shift and departmental meetings, scheduling and directing staff in their work assignments, creating forecast and revenue reports, maintaining profitability of the outlets to support overall hotel operation, and ensuring excellent customer service. Evening, weekends and all Holidays availability is required; Ability to make decisions in a fast paced environment; Strong guest service and employee relations skills. This position requires a minimum of 3 years restaurant experience and minimum 2 years supervisory/management experience. Working knowledge of Micros, Microsoft applications and Ultipro preferred. Must have good knowledge of Wine and spirits.

Assistant Front Office Manager - Full Time
The Assistant Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing, planning, directing, and coordinating operational activities of Guest Service Agents, PBX Operators, Bellmen, Concierge, as well as work closely with Valet. The Assistant Front Office Manager is accountable for providing exceptional levels of guest service and effectively resolving guests’ complaints. Will support Front Office Manager in any obligations related to Front Office operations. Previous supervisory or management experience strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred or must have equivalent level of customer service experience. Physical requirements include having the ability to: sit for extended periods of time, stand and walk, see and read a computer screen and printed matter with or without vision aids, operate standard office equipment, use a telephone, hear and understand at normal levels on the telephone, speak so that others may understand at normal levels and on the telephone, reach overhead, grasp, push, pull, move or lift up to 30 lbs. on an occasional basis.

Housekeeping Pool Attendant - Full Time
The Pool Attendant is responsible for housekeeping, customer service and general up keep of the outdoor swimming pool decks and restrooms. The Pool Attendant must be able to work in an outdoor environment, stand, walk, push, pull and move carts that can weigh up to 50 lbs when loaded.

Aquatics Pool Attendant - On Call
Pool Attendants are required to have a flexible work schedule to include being available on weekends. The typical schedule can include 2-3 work days per week after school, one 8 hour day on weekends and holiday work. Pool Attendants must be 16 years of age or older. CPR, First Aid & AED certifications are preferred but can be obtained within two weeks of hire. Must be physically able to lift 30+ pounds, walk, stand, bend and work in an outdoor environment.

Center Court Cashier - Full Time and Part Time
The Center Court Cashier serves restaurant patrons by delivering personalized service as they take and deliver food & beverage orders for members and guests of The Houstonian Club.  The Center Court Cashier serves the Company by accurately ringing tickets for every purchase and responsibly managing a cash bank.  The cashier must understand and communicate fluently in English, be able to accurately and making change for purchases and perform standardized accounting cash closing procedures.  Previous Food Service or Retail Cashier experience preferred. Must be physically able to walk, stand and bend for long periods of time and to push, pull and lift 20 lbs. and on an occasional basis, 50 lbs. 

Lifeguard - Full Time and Part Time
The Lifeguard’s primary role is to ensure the safety of patrons and coworkers. This will be done by constant surveillance of the pools, recognizing and preventing hazardous behaviors, inspecting pool areas for potential problems and hazards and taking appropriate action. Lifeguard’s secondary duties will include, but are not limited to: maintaining pool chemistry logs, cleaning and maintaining the pool areas, assisting coworkers with set up and tear down of a class area, and greeting and assisting members. This position requires extended hours in an outdoor environment. This position requires the moving of pool furniture, hauling equipment used for classes, and lifting boxes or other items located inside the pool areas weighing up to 50 lb. Lifeguards  are required to have valid Lifeguard, CPR, AED and First Aid certifications. The minimum age for this position is 17 years of age.

Member Services Agent - Full Time and Part Time
The Member Services Agent provide customer service to the members and their guests at the entrances and exits of The Houstonian Club in a friendly and respectful manner. Member Services Agents will also assist guest by escorting members to certain areas of the club as desired. Customer service experience required. The Member Services Agents must be physically able to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
