Arbor Grill Food Service Runner - Seasonal
Arbor Grill Food Service Runner assist members and guests by serving food and beverage in an outdoor environment, both under the Arbor Grill and poolside. They are responsible for taking accurate orders, prompt, friendly service. Arbor Grill Food Service Runners are responsible for recognizing proper identification for alcoholic beverages, ringing up orders in the POS system, menu knowledge, stocking stations with all necessary supplies and opening and closing duties. Arbor Grill Food Service Runners must be 18 years of age with some food and beverage experience; experience as a bartender is a plus. Candidates for this position will be available to work weekends and holidays throughout the Arbor Grill Season. Arbor Grill Food Service Runners must be able to lift 30+ pounds, and to walk and stand for long periods of time.

Spa Nail Technician - Part Time
Nail Technicians are responsible for performing nail spa services in the manner trained by The Houstonian Spa. Nail Technicians will provide consistent professional nail services in accordance with spa protocols, uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures, properly care for equipment and implements and tools and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls and have complete knowledge and understanding of all nail services and products while educating and training guests in these areas. Nail Technicians must be physically able to perform some strenuous physical labor (lifting boxes). Nail Technicians must have current certification in the State of Texas.

Spa Guest Services Coordinator - Full Time & Part Time
This position requires customer service experience, prior hotel, spa or salon reservations experience is preferred. Computer experience with word and excel.  The Guest Service Coordinator has the ability to learn Spa Software program, to speak fluent English, and must possess strong communication skills. This employee should must display a pleasant, professional, and outgoing personality and professional appearance. Must be flexible in work schedule and able to work weekends.

Center Court Cafe Cook II - Full Time
The Center Court Cook II is responsible for maintenance, set up, food production and quality control of all meat, fish, fowl and other food items prepared in the kitchen. Must have 1-3 years cooking experience in a restaurant and/or hotel. Must be able to stand and bend for long periods of time, the hours of work varies upon business, must be able to push, pull and lift 30 lbs. on a regular basis. Typical shifts will be 11a-7pm or 1p-9p

Olivette Busser - Full Time (AM Shift)
The Olivette Busser assists the Servers in providing pleasant guest experience. The duties include, but are not limited to: table set up for each shift, cleaning and resetting tables in a timely manner, stocking supplies, continuously replenishing non-alcoholic beverages and bread presentations and maintaining table services. A minimum of one year previous experience required. The Busser must be physically able to walk, stand and bend for long periods of time, and able to push, pull, lift and carry 30 lbs.

Olivette Sous Chef - Full Time
Train, supervise and work with all kitchen staff in order to prepare, cook and present food according to hotel standards. Implement and maintain operating policies to obtain financial results as dictated by operating budgets. This position requires previous management experience in an upper tiered restaurant and/or hotel. Strong working knowledge on all cooking techniques, butchering, sauces, vinaigrettes and garde manager; strong working knowledge of elevated standards of sanitation; knowledge of operating all kitchen equipment, i.e., stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, kettles, etc. Must be able to stand and bend for long periods of time, the hours of work varies upon business, must be able to push, pull and lift 30 lbs. on a regular basis.

Maintenance Engineer - Tech II - Full Time (Overnight Painter)
This position will require frequent standing, walking, climbing of ladders and stairs, kneeling, crawling on hands and knees, reaching overhead, lifting and carrying various objects weighing up to 70 lbs.  Must be able to work safely and effectively while elevated on ladders, scaffolds or work platforms. Must be able to work safely and effectively in outdoor temperatures. Temperatures in mechanical rooms and some other work spaces may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Summer temperatures outside can get above 95 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 months of year. For 2 months of year, low temperatures can get below 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Occasional driving is required. Must possess a valid Texas Drivers License and maintain a good driving record in compliance with company policy. Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle equipped with a lift gate and/or a standard transmission.


Pool Systems Manager - Full Time
The Pool Systems Manager is responsible for the daily operations of pools, Jacuzzis, steam rooms, and dry saunas in order to ensure safety and achieve the overall goals of the department and organization. This manager will lead the in-house and contracted projects related to pool operations, manage activities and production of hourly departmental employees that are assigned to pool operations and ensure that all work is performed to a high standards of safety, quality, equity and integrity in agreement with our company values. The position requires 2-4 years of experience or a combination of the following: electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC. Must have a Pool Operators Certification. Must be physically able to perform the following: frequent standing, walking, climbing ladders and stairs, knelling, crawling on hands and knees, reaching overhead, lifting and carrying various objects weighing up to 70 pounds. Must be able to swim. Temperatures in mechanical rooms and some other work spaces may exceed 100 degrees in the spring/summer months and low temperatures can reach 20 degrees in the fall/winter months.

Lifeguard - Seasonal and On Call

The Lifeguard’s primary role is to ensure the safety of patrons and coworkers. This will be done by constant surveillance of the pools, recognizing and preventing hazardous behaviors, inspecting pool areas for potential problems and hazards and taking appropriate action. Lifeguard’s secondary duties will include, but are not limited to: maintaining pool chemistry logs, cleaning and maintaining the pool areas, assisting coworkers with set up and tear down of a class area, and greeting and assisting members. This position requires extended hours in an outdoor environment. This position requires the moving of pool furniture, hauling equipment used for classes, and lifting boxes or other items located inside the pool areas weighing up to 50 lb. Lifeguards  are required to have valid Lifeguard, CPR, AED and First Aid certifications. The minimum age for this position is 17 years of age.


Concierge - 4th Floor Lounge - Full Time
The Concierge assists hotel patrons with personal services. May take messages, arrange or give advice on transportation, business services or entertainment, or monitor guest requests for housekeeping, engineering and food & beverage departments. The Concierge will have knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. and push or pull various sizes of luggage, packages, coolers, and boxes. Bending and kneeling are required throughout shift as well as walking, standing, lifting, pulling and climbing stairs. The 4th floor Lounge Concierge also prepares and maintains several food presentations during each shift.
 

Loss Prevention Officer - Part TIme
This position requires self-motivated individuals who will be responsible for greeting, directing and assisting guests at the main entrance to  the campus.  Other duties include monitoring traffic and reporting. This uniformed officer will also patrol using a bicycle and/or golf cart to patrol lots and garages.  Front Gate Officers will respond to fire and medical emergencies and must be CPR, First Aid and AED certified.

Head Lifeguard - Part Time & Seasonal
The Head Lifeguard’s primary role is responsible for all aspects of leading the Lifeguard team.  This includes, but is not limited to training new hires, conducting In-Services, observing and assisting the Lifeguards with their duties, conducting skills testing, organizing the rotations, ensuring that duties are completed and records are maintained, reporting hazards and maintenance needs, scheduling and coaching of  the Lifeguards. The Head Lifeguard works closely with the Aquatics Manager to ensure appropriate staffing, training, leadership and coaching is taking place. A Head Lifeguard will may also be asked to help train and lead the Pool Attendants. Head Lifeguards are required to attend all Lifeguard In-Services and Aquatics, Club and Company meetings. Lifeguards will be required to work holidays and all Aquatics related events. Memorial Day, Labor Day and Fourth of July holidays are mandatory. This position requires extended hours in an outdoor environment. Employees are responsible to take appropriate safety precautions to protect themselves from the elements. This position requires the moving of pool furniture, hauling equipment used for classes, and lifting boxes or other items located inside the pool areas weighting up to 50 lb. Other related tasks might be performed as necessary to accomplish operational goals.
