Assistant Executive Housekeeper - Full Time
The Assistant Executive Housekeeper supports the Executive Housekeeper and the Housekeeping/Laundry department by performing both operational and administrative duties. In conjunction with the Executive Housekeeper, Laundry Manager, Assistant Housekeeping Managers and Supervisors, the Assistant Executive Housekeeper is responsible for the completion of all daily tasks to the established standards, hiring, training, and counseling of the staff. Duties include but are not limited Other duties may include inventories, ordering and distribution of supplies, weekly schedules and maintenance of lost and found records. Previous Housekeeping /Laundry management experience is preferred. Must be physically able to walk, stand, bend frequently throughout the work day.

IT Desktop Support Technician - Full Time
The IT Desktop Support Technician position requires 3+ years on the job experience with a company of at least 100 desktops. Responsibilities include answering support phone, logging all support calls and emails, resolving trouble tickets submitted by end users, assisting with desktop Operating System patches, resolving virus issues on desktops. 

IT Operations Director
The IT Operations Director is responsible for the day-to-day IT operations of the Campus and responsible for multiple aspects of company IT systems and service strategy, design, implementation, and operation.  Emphasis is placed on the operational aspects of managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure as well as continuous improvement of systems, processes and procedures.  Minimum of 5 years on the job experience and management responsibilities of at least one hundred desktops and 15 Windows servers.  Previous IT management responsibilities highly preferred. Applications: MS Office (all versions,) Tracki-It, Goldmine, Citrix Metaframe, Patch distribution software, Anti-Virus software (Trend Micro), Exchange, Microsoft Active Directory, Web Content Filtering (Surfcontrol).  Education and Preferred Certifications:  A+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.  Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree with equivalent experience.

Youth Attendant - Part Time
The Youth Attendants interact and with the children placed in the care of the Youth Department. This employee is responsible for organizing and stocking games, movies, board games, and art supplies. They will clean and sanitize all tables, shoe rack, and perform a very detailed cleaning of the jungle gym once per week.  Youth Attendants plan and prepare activities and crafts, keep the supplies organized and neat and request supplies as needed. Youth Attendants must be physically able to lift up to 35 pounds. CPR and First Aid certification training will be provided within one week of hire. These certifications must be obtained prior to the first work shift.

Member Services Agent - Part Time
The Member Services Agent provide customer service to the members and their guests at the entrances and exits of The Houstonian Club in a friendly and respectful manner. Member Services Agents will also assist guest by escorting members to certain areas of the club as desired. Customer service experience required. The Member Services Agents must be physically able to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.

Laundry Attendant - Full Time
The Laundry Attendant manages the finishing processes for all laundry materials including towel folding, pressing, finish folding and hand folding. The Laundry Attendant must have conversational English language skills and must be able to read and understand machine operator screens in English.  The Laundry Attendant must be able to operate folding and pressing equipment, able to distinguish between terry and linen product from all campus entities, able to accurately load carts for transport to the hotel, club and Trellis Spa. Prior experience in a commercial laundry or housekeeping environment is helpful. Must be physically able to walk, stand and bend for long periods of time and able to push, pull and lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and frequently push carts that weigh up to 350 lbs.


Tennis Receptionist - Full Time
The Club Tennis Receptionist is an employee whose duties are to control the flow of the tennis office by greeting all members, prospects, and employees. In addition to answering the phone lines for booking tennis reservations for courts, lessons, clinics and mixers. The Club Receptionist is responsible for the administrative support and day-to-day operations. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as outstanding customer service skills, excellent organization skills and be able to effectively handle multiple tasks at once. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Excel is required. Physical requirements of this position include having the ability to: sit for extended periods of time, stand, climb, walk, use a computer and printer matter with or without vision aids, enter data into computer, operate standard office equipment, stoop, reach overhead, grasp, push, pull, move, write, or lift up to 30 lbs. on occasional basis.  Must be able to handle being outside in hot and cold weather to roll dry tennis courts after a rain.

Swim Coach - On Call
In this position the Swim Coach will lead swimming classes and provide private instruction. Instruction must be conducted with safety as a priority.  Swim Coaches must be self motivated, organized, communicate well and be willing to do whatever it takes to build relationships with our membership. Adult Swim Coaches will be required to assist at department events (even on some holidays), and attend Aquatics, Club and Company meetings. The Swim Coach must have a background in competitive swimming, coaching USS and/or competing in National Championships, Jar Nationals or NCAA Championships. Triathlon coaching and dry land weight training certifications are a plus. Current CPR, First Aid and AED certifications are required. Must obtain safety training for Swim Coaches within 90 days of being hired.

Loss Prevention Officer - Part Time
The Loss Prevention Officers are responsible for assisting with the protection of property and assets, including employees through responding to fire, medical and other emergencies on campus, in addition to enforcing the policies as directed by management and/or employee handbook.  Physical patrols of the campus buildings, garages and surface lots, also will direct traffic when needed.  Frequent standing, walking, climbing of ladders and stairs kneeling, reaching overhead, lifting and carrying various objects weighing up to 50 lbs.  Must be able to work safely and effectively in outdoor temperatures

Audio Visual Technician - Full Time
The Audio Visual Technicians maintain a commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction. Perform all guest contact activities such as assisting with the operation of any equipment and answering client questions in a cordial, efficient and professional manner. Duties may include, but are not limited to the following: use of the banquet event order book as a guide for all setups and teardowns, testing all equipment before each function, removal of all equipment at the conclusion of each event. While performing the duties of this job, The Audio Visual Technicians are required to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools and or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift 50 lbs. and climb a 14’ ladder to hang lights.

Spa Training Manager - Full Time
The Spa Training Manager is directly responsible of training of all new and existing staff members. Regular duties will include updates and maintenance to the created manuals and SOPs, regular service audits and arrangement of secret shopper audits, refresher training for existing staff and training for new staff as needed. The Spa Training Manager will not only train staff personally, but also seek out experts in needed educational areas to hold on-site workshops and seminars to enhance employee satisfaction, productivity, and continued learning.  Some of the specific duties are to: Implement and maintain Trellis Social Media strategy, manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities, develop a training strategy for all levels of spa staff, based on the Forbes Five Star Rating system and the Houstonian Way, conduct new hire and recurrent training sessions based on the developed strategy. The preferred skill set will include previous spa experience, previous training, supervisory or management experience, management, organizational and motivational skills, public relations and communication skills, sales experience, especially in product retail, strong skills in Word and Excel and the ability to learn new Spa Software program. The Spa Training Manager must be physically able to perform bending, stooping, and lifting of materials up to 20 pounds.

IT Manager - Full Time
The IT Manager position requires a minimum of 5 years on the job experience and management responsibilities of at least one hundred desktops and 15 Windows servers; A+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certifications preferred. This position is responsible for managing the technology infrastructure that supports all applications and business lines on the Houstonian Campus.  The position will manage and maintain all servers, network and desktop systems and ensure that the infrastructure is secure and operating at the 99.99%.  This position currently has 2 direct reports.
